Workers' Compensation Insurance

The coverage most states require the moment you have employees — and the one that protects both them and you.

Licensed in Colorado, Wyoming, Texas & Illinois

What it is

Workers' compensation covers medical costs and lost wages when an employee is injured or becomes ill because of their job. In exchange, it generally protects your business from being sued directly for that injury.

Why it's not optional

Most states require it once you have employees — sometimes from the very first hire. Going without it where it's required can mean steep fines, stop-work orders, and personal liability for the medical bills. This is one of the few coverages that's the law, not a choice.

What it covers

Who needs it

Almost any business with employees — and in some states, that includes officers and certain subcontractors. Even where you're not strictly required, clients and general contractors often won't let you on a job without proof of coverage.

What we do

We place your workers' comp with carriers that understand your industry's class codes, help you classify payroll correctly so you're not overpaying, and issue the certificates your general contractors and clients require.

Let's get you covered.

Tell us what you need and we'll shop it across our carriers — or just ask a question first.
